Optic / Obscurity
6:49 PM, Obtic Inc
Obscurity's tongue tip flicked out from between her lips as she worked a spring into place, brows furrowed in concentration. Nearly got it... With a sharp THWANG, the small metal piece leapt from her grasp and out into the midst of the garage's unkept floor. Papers scattered across the floor in fairly orderly piles, easily in reach of all the key areas of the most activity, and used to catch grease and oil from their creations. Scowling, OB hauled herself to her feet and strode across the expanse of the garage, nearly slipping on one of these very papers. She ran her grease-coated fingers down her stained cargo pants scooped up the silvery spring. Once she returned to her worktable, she swept a hand across its surface and spilled the contents of her most recent project into a small cardboard box, which then got lightly placed on a shelf close by.
"Ah, work." She muttered quietly. She continued to stare blankly at the cardboard box, lost in thought. Ears perking upward ever so slightly, the Kolther quickly glanced over her shoulder at the clock.
Only ten more minutes.
Obscurity's expression brightened and she scampered over to a metal sink located by the door. She quickly scrubbed away all the collected grime and gunk from the day's work and ran her fingers through her short maroon hair. Spinning around, she scooped up a pair of insignificant work boots and pulled them on, lacing them to the top and patting a thin layer of dirt off.
Her cell phone lit up.
He was on his way.
