Glacier allowed for his chin to be tilted up while Chimera patched his wound. "You haven't caused me any trouble at all. I'd say you're the one being troubled." He rubbed the bandaid once the other male had finished. "Does this happen often? The bullying?"

Chimera sighed at the question, rubbing the back of his head. "It's not usually this bad, I usually just have to deal with being made fun of verbally. I'm used to it anyways, that's just how it is with my condition. Been treated like this since I was just a little kid. Fosters always just looked the other way, I've learned to deal with it." He shrugged before heading to the kitchen to grab a bag of ice, pressing it against his shoulder. His ears were low as he thought about his childhood, he had spent his entire life as a child in foster care, and was never adopted. Shaking away the thoughts he gave Glacier a smile, trying not to dwell on it. "Anyways, how is your bird? I hope she didn't get too rattled from all of that."

Glacier frowned unhappily to hear this. No one should be treated this way at all, let alone on a daily basis. Espeically not someone has kind and harmless as Chimera. His ear flicked as he looked to the carrier, patting it a bit. "She's quiet, so probably a little stressed out. It would help if I could let her out to perch for a bit...if that's alright with you?" He asked. "She's trained, if there's a placement of newspapers on the ground she'll only use the bathroom above them."

Chimera's ears perked a bit. "Oh, I believe I have some, let me look." It took him a few moments to find where he had put some old newspapers he had meant to throw away, glad now that he forgot to. "Here you go." He handed the papers over to Glacier and stood back a bit, peering curiously at the cage, wanting to see the bird. She didn't look like any of the birds he had seen around Vondale, he wondered where he got her. "So how did you manage to get a bird like this anyways? I've never seen one like her." Chimera asked curiously. He couldn't explain the urge he had to try to hold her, but he didn't want to get bit either.

Glacier smiled and placed the newspapers down next to the table as a marker for where she should go if she felt the need. He then opened the cage door and let her walk out, the avian climbing onto the top of the cage to get a look around. "I'm an animal trapper. In a humane way. I catch potential and legal animals and tame them to be pets. Flutter here was bred though. So she's a little more trainable, even though she's feisty." He reached out to stroke a finger over the bird's head, her tail feathers shivering a bit as he did so. "Do you want to pet her?" The blue kolth asked gently. "She gets hissy when she's being moody, but she won't bite."

Chimera watched as Glacier put down the newspapers and let the bird out of its cage, surprised at how large it actually was. He hesitated a little when Glacier offered to let him pet her, she looked like she could give a nasty bite with how large her beak was. "O-okay." Reaching out carefully he stroked the bird on her head, amazed at how soft she was. "Wow... do you have a lot of birds like this?" He asked curiously as he pulled his hand back.

"A few. Birds are popular as decorative pets. But these types are more hands on so I try not to try and sell too many to people who don't know what they're getting into. Flutter's mine though. Every home I sold her to brought her back so now she's all mine to deal with." He rolled his eyes a bit. The bird let Chimera continue to pet her head a bit before she flapped her wings and fluttered off to climb onto some other furniture of the strange house and explore.
