Character Development: Chimera

Alright! SO I would really like some input on my ideas for my boy Chimera, and maybe a bit of help fleshing out his history and such? The boy in question is this one: sta.sh/01ua1q4updtq (please excuse the DATA base, have not transfered him yet)
Chimera is well, just what his name is, a male chimera (a chimera is formed when two separate embryos develop and merge together in the womb)
Things I have decided on for Chimera:
-A form of Dissociative Identity Disorder (formally known as multiple personality disorder)
-Chimera can often be seen talking to himself, poor guy is a bit lonely so the two often talk to keep themselves entertained. Sometimes only one or the other will talk and the other thinks back in response, or sometime both will openly speak.
Things I am not decided on for Chimera:
-Occupation! Chimera loves children, and would love to provide for little ones that were orphaned like he was.
-Also considering possibly being a waiter, as his main personality is very friendly and he would love getting to be around other koltherians to make friends with!
-Age and location! I feel this isn't really as important (his age at least) but I do think I want to have him more on the younger end of the spectrum, maybe being fairly fresh out of school and just finding his place in the world, or older and almost a bit of a hermit cause he has a hard time making and keeping friends.
I would very much like to get to roleplay Chimera to help develop him some more, but I want to get your guys input on what I have for him so far and things that I should change/improve or just totally random things you might like to see out of this guy ;v; So let me know what you think!

- Chimera has two separate "personalities"
- Both of these personalities share the same memories and name and gender
- Switches between personalities seem to be almost totally random, and one or the other will usually respond or "come out" when asked.
- The first personality is very bubbly and happy go lucky. He is fun and exciting, and loves going out and having a great time. This Chimera is incredibly friendly and outgoing, and loves to make others smile.
- The second personality is the more prominent one, and is usually the one most people will encounter when they first meet Chimera. This Chimera is very shy and quiet, and at times may almost seem a bit paranoid. Is more antisocial than his counterpart, but doesn't necessarily dislike others, more just doesn't trust them. Most will usually meet this Chimera first because of his fear of others hurting him emotionally, can be looked at as a "protector" for Chimera's main personality.
- Chimera was orphaned and put up for adoption when he was a young child by his parents, who decided that he should be considered "defective" because of his condition. Many believe that this is what really created his second personality. He was never adopted and lived his entire childhood in foster care.
