Community Forum Rules and Guidelines!

Thank you for joining the Official Koltherian Community Forum! I'd like to take a moment to tell everyone how excited I am about this forum, and to properly welcome all of our members to this part of the Koltherian Community! As you are all aware, this forum is open to all members of the Koltherian Community from the species' group on DeviantART, as well as those wanting to become future members. It is for artists, roleplayers, and just a general hangout for our community specifically.

I would like to start off by saying that this is a drama-free community forum, and our rules and guidelines are to be taken very seriously! Any member who breaks these rules or guidelines may be subjected to temporary or permanent banishment from the forums, or if the situation is severe; removal from the DeviantART group, revocation of Koltherian characters and/or being blacklisted from the species all together. (let's not let it go there!)



For Koltherian Community use ONLY! While you do not have to own a Koltherian to be a member of the Koltherian Community, or to join the forums, non-koltherian community use of this forum is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: Using the forum for non-koltherian community related advertisement, non-koltherian community related discussion, using the forum for other communities/species, and joining to harass koltherian community members. Please keep our content Koltherian Community related! (This includes RP!)

This is a Drama-Free Forum! It's okay to have your own opinions, and want to discuss them with other members, but please try to be respectful to other members and staff, and keep the forum a friendly environment for everyone else. We are not here to fight and bicker about something, and I will not tolerate any sort of harassment between any members or staff. This is especially for the topics relating to "other original species" or "certain other deviants". This is a serious rule. Do not be nasty to people. If you are having an issue with another member on the forum please let me know via PM and I will handle the situation as I see fit.

Inactive Members will be automatically deleted after a month without a post. This is to prevent users having multiple accounts, and keep us safe from phishing and scamming bot accounts. If you notice any suspicious accounts, regardless of what they are suspicious of (even if you think it's someone wanting to start drama) please let me know as soon as possible! If you need to change your Username or Password (or if you had your account removed by accident), please let me know by noting my DeviantART account.

Please keep the Forum a G to PG-13 rated place! This includes Roleplaying, General Discussion, Artwork, and General Use of the forum. Pornography and Mature content (including messages and PMs) is prohibited on this forum! If someone is doing something that is making you feel uncomfortable, please contact me immediately via PM. Sexual Harassment will NOT be tolerated! (cursing and mild drug/alcohol use is okay... but no smut/erp, guys.)

Please Keep your Roleplays in the right board! Roleplays that you are doing with your friend only belong in the closed roleplay board. Roleplays that are open to the community to join in on belong in the open roleplay board. Roleplays that are non-canonical, or just for fun should be placed in the freeplay roleplay board. Roleplays are to be kept in the Koltherian Universe! Any roleplay threads in any board are to be kept between worlds and species in the Koltherian Universe. This goes along with our Koltherian Community use only policy. Other species, headworlds, or non Koltherian-universe characters are not allowed. (This includes the making of illegal Koltherian characters! Do not use illicit Koltherian characters in roleplays, or in the community in general!)

Respect all other Roleplayers! Our roleplaying members are every bit as valuable as everyone else in the community. If they have a closed roleplay, do not harass them to open the roleplay to you. If they are doing something their way, please respect that. I don't want to see anyone getting hurt over roleplay, and if someone isn't being respectful please let me know. Also, guys. If you are wanting to roleplay something specifically, PLEASE specify at the top of your thread to avoid confusion!



All Art posted must be Koltherian Community related! This goes without saying. Anyone uploading or advertising non Koltherian Community related artwork or images will have their thread removed and will be warned. Repeat offenders will be exempt from posting any more images. Do not post non- Koltherian Community artwork, adoptables, game sprites, etc. (your avatars are free to be anything, though!)

Do NOT upload any art that is NOT YOURS! Even if it is Koltherian or Koltherian Community related; please do not upload any artwork that you have not done yourself. This is just to prevent art theft, or unhappy artists that did not want to have their artwork uploaded or shared on another website.

Do not upload any rapidly flashing or "seizure" images! This has become a vastly popular, but very concerning thing and unfortunately, any sort of rapidly flashing image, or any image that could cause seizures is prohibited from being posted on the forum. This is for safety of all of our community and members. As an added addition to this; for our sensitive members, do not upload any images with excessive blood/gore, hate art, or sexual content of any sort.



Again, this forum was created for the Koltherian Universe ONLY! Please keep other species and headworlds away from things like roleplays and art (or even general discussion if you're just being negative in your conversations.). Irrelevant topics and threads will be removed from the forum and users will be warned if things get out of hand. Anyone from specific other species groups will be banned from this forum if I find they are here causing trouble.

NO ONE is allowed to sell/trade Koltherians! I do not allow this anywhere, and it will not be tolerated on the forums. You are not allowed to sell your Koltherian Characters, nor trade them, or give them away (even as prizes for community events without my written permission. ESPECIALLY IF THEY WERE DTA DESIGNS!) This is a very serious thing and could very easily get you blacklisted and removed from the species.

Member Events and Contests must be things like small community art trades, free icons/art events, design contests, etc. Staff events are mainly advertisements for large community events or adoption rounds/contests happening on deviantART.

Any artwork uploaded to this forum or used on the layout is not to be used or uploaded anywhere else. Unless the artwork belongs to you, do not take artwork off the forum to use anywhere else without the poster/artist's written consent. This includes the images on the forum layout itself, as those are my images and I do not allow use of any of my images. Anything posted to this forum is subject to copyright laws and use on outside websites is prohibited.

Spam is not allowed! Please be considerate to our other members. Do not spam threads, do not open more threads than necessary, and try to keep any post bumping to a minimum. Users reported for spamming will have their accounts temporarily disabled from posting on the first warning. Repeat offenders will be banned from the forum permanently. (uploading non Koltherian Community related content is also considered spam!)
