The Meeting PlaceSetting: A bar in Drovill Cast: Calligraphy Calligraphy is currently looking for a mate or friends! A late night in Drovill brought a certain well-known local artist to the bar known simply as the "Meeting Place." He worked to set up a few microphones on the small stage as well as adjust the lighting the best he could without the use of a ladder. The Koltherian was a dwarf, less than half the size of his peers but half as shy as one would think. He showed up to sing at the Meeting Place every weekend and this one was no different. He smiled and chatted with a few of the regulars and accepted whatever drinks were offered his way, happy to be among others. Anyone who was willing to chat was a friend to him, male female, good mood, bad mood, he didn't care either way. He would chat with anyone, especially if they were upset. His day job WAS Therapy after all. Calligraphy sat on the stag, legs hanging off the side and deciding to spend some time with the other Koltherians at the bar before his "showtime" in a couple of hours.

While the city was quite a fun place to be, Grid was often bored with the amount of activity within. Every so often, the koltherian decided to put on her human form and go wandering around Drovill. Which was, she decided, a much quieter place; though she'd never consider leaving Orita, where she gained most of her business. With a little yawn, she was on her way down a rather cold and quiet road, not sure whether she should have headed home to her apartment much earlier or if she had time to stay and maybe make some friends. A very warm looking bar caught her eye, she decided the latter. Grid smoothed down her long hair, frilled up her outfit a little bit -- and with grunts of frustration, fixed up the prosthetic -- and set inside on a journey to make as many friends as possible in one night. "The Meeting Place" was an exceptional name -- as mentioned prior, this Koltherian was in here soley for the purpose of meeting. Her apartment in Orita was very close to this sub-city and anyone that lived here could probably keep in touch; unlike if she was making friends in a far-off city, it was much easier when you could talk to them in-person. She took a seat at the bar and ordered a drink, somewhat wishing she hard her sketchbook with her; looking at others was an excellent source of inspiration. Anyhow, she decided to fidget with this god-forsaken fake foot and see if she could make it any more (un)comfortable.
//ffs I hope I did that right

The bar was lively as usual, full of many interesting characters from all over Drovill and Orita, some even coming from farther away. The bartender was actually a human, likely coming from one of Drovill's many inter-species relations centers he quickly took Grid's order and brought her back a drink with a friendly nod before hurrying to serve another visitor to the bar. And then there was Calligraphy. Despite this Koltherian's small size he seemed to grab the attention of much of the bar's visitors, chatting away happily with anyone who who cared to converse with him as he sat on the stage to be at eye level with the others seated below him. His current conversation was with a Koltherian who looked to be in a foul mood, drinking more than necessary by any means but as the two's conversation continued this irritated stranger seemed to be able to shake out of his previous demeanor and was soon laughing and having as good a time as the dwarf Koltherian who had helped to cheer him up in the first place. In fact, the young Koltherian's good mood seemed contagious as he joked around and shared stories with those who had gathered to sit around the stage making everyone laugh and share tales of their own giving the bar a fun and energetic atmosphere.

She'd noticed the gathering group of people around what seemed like a very funny and interesting center. She wouldn't go anywhere, the Koltherian thought, if she didn't start a conversation. As Grid finished her drink she decided to speak to a rather small yet very lively Kolther who had taken a seat upon the stage and was, apparently, getting the most attention in the bar. While he did look like a child, she could tell he wasn't and that it would probably be rude to state so; though there was that rude gleam in her eyes that the unfortunate Koltherian failed to hide. "Hey there!" she greeted him and smiled slightly, "what're we talking about?" A slight shift of her weight and a slight twitch of the ear and hopefully she was looking as friendly and as nice as possible.
//sorry this took so long, I didn't know what to say but finally I just felt bad!
