Born and raised in Tratool, Vex spent a lot of time on the streets. She explored and she spoke, learning everything she could from her neighbors. She familiarized herself with nearly all of the locally owned stores and their owners. She was very personable, and the owners enjoyed her company. Often she'd help restock shelves and assist customers in finding things. She would be repaid with small trinkets or treats. She soon became quite a recognizable figure in downtown Tratool. Even today she is on a name by name basis with most people.
She loves helping and socializing with people. She is very kind and soft-spoken, but she will assert herself whenever she feels the need. She is a very hands-on Kolther and requires touch to learn and understand things. She enjoys any kind of hands on projects, such as building projects, gardening, sewing, and husbandry.
Hobbies and Interests:
Vex enjoys sewing and husbandry the most out of all of her activities. She creates anything from blankets to clothing for both herself and her friends and family. She enjoys human care-taking, and has a human herself. Hers is a twenty-four year old male. She takes excellent care of her human pet, and she teaches him whatever she is currently teaching herself. He is usually quiet, but will become defensive of her if she is ever questioned. This has gotten him into a few close calls with some unfriendly folk. Fortunately, Vex has always been able to avert disaster.

If you would like to just put up what information you do have on Feldspar so far, we can work from there! You are more than welcome to copy and paste what I have to fill in your information. Once you have that up, and an image of your babe if you want, we can start discussing and filling information in!
Did you have any particular personality in mind for Feldspar?

I'm really diggin what you have so far! since you have that vex helped shop owners and such, maybe she met feldspar through helping him with his plants one day? especially because she enjoys taking care of animals and other living things. perhaps feld was trying to do something and needed quick help and yelled for someone to help him lmao
and perhaps she also taught feld how to sew

If it helps with his compulsive tendencies then she'd be even more driven to teach him. As for the scars, that is totally up to you. Maybe it was an accident that happened while he was struggling to control his OCD? Or maybe it was a traumatic event? Regardless of what you decide, Vex is a very supportive figure and will have no problem sticking with him and supporting him. |

Hmm. A good place to start, once you have their hobbies / occupations set would be to think about what their parents did / are like. What drove them to choose that profession, were their parents supportive of that profession or were they not? Did they learn their profession from their parents? Say Feldspar picked up his career from his father, you would then have that he has a close relationship to his dad. All kinds of opportunities open up after that. Do they still do things together? Does he do anything with his mom? Did he learn anything in particular from her that applies to his current character? Did he like both of his parents? Does he live in the same town he grew up in or did he move away? Did he choose a profession outside of his family's comfort zone? Did he enjoy his schooling or not? Was it difficult for him? Was he relieved to graduate and leave or was it bittersweet? All just a bunch of prompt-like questions to help further your ideas ^^ But that's usually the direction I go when I'm starting a new backstory. I LOVE where the relationship is going so far, so long as Feldspar isn't a perpetually depressed character with no intent of getting better, we are on a good track ^^ |

I was making a funny, I did an RP a long, long time ago with someone and their character was just stuck on depressed mode and had zero character progression at ALL. Drove me crazy. I think Vex would make a great foundation for him, and I honestly love playing characters like that. It's always hard coming up with an original backstory that involves any kind of accident or tragedy without it coming across Mary Sue. Perhaps we could shake it up a bit once you decide on how the accident took place. Maybe the machinery malfunctions because of a neglectful manager / owner? I'm very happy to hear that he enjoys the beauty of life. This just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to get this all finished up and start the roleplay! <3 |
